Awkwafina Awkwafina, an American performer and actress, started by releasing a humorous rap track which dealt with the subject of sexual and race. Her fame grew into Hollywood after she released an album of raps. Nora Lum began her musical path as a trumpeter. Her birthplace was Forest Hills Queens, she was the child of Chinese immigrants and Koreans. Her classical, jazz and hip-hop studies began when she was in her teens. In college, she focused on her studies and majored both in women's study and journalism. While she was for a brief amount during her time in Beijing, Mandarin language classes were offered as well. After graduation, she start focusing on music. In 2012 her track My Vag a response to Mickey Avalon's My Dick found viral success across the Internet eventually landing on her debut LP Yellow Ranger in 2014. Other viral hits included the queef song and the winking NYC Bitche$ hometown tour.
