Kristen Anne Bell was born in 1980. She's an American singer and actress. She is a Michigan native, born and was raised by her parents Lorelei Frygier (a nurse) and Tom Bell (a TV news director). Her heritage includes Polish (mother) as well as German, English, Irish and Scottish (father). Kristen's talent for entertainment was recognized at an early age. She was cast in the role of Raggedy Ann in 1992 after having attended her first audition. Bell was accepted by her mother as an agent when she was only 13 years old. She was then selected for newspapers ads as well as commercials on TV. In addition, she is beginning classes in acting for herself. Bell was credited as a character in the movie Polish Wedding (1998) in 1998. Bell was a student at Shrine Catholic High School, where she was a member of the both the music and drama club. When her school staged a production of The Wizard of Oz, Bell won the role of Dorothy. Bell was then transferred to New York City, to the Tisch School of the Arts. She was a musical theatre student at the Tisch School of the Arts. Bell dropped out of school in 2001 to take on the role of Becky in the film Tom Sawyer. Bell made her debut film credit with Pootie Tang in 2001. The scene however, was trimmed and now Bell's only role is the credits at the end. Bell appeared alongside Angela Bettis, Liam Neeson as well as in the Broadway performance of The Crucible in 2002.
